Photo Enlargements

Active Images have three options when it comes to photo enlargement:

1. Laser copies up to A3.
2. Ultra quality enlargements up to 420mm by 2400mm, printed on 75 year paper using the highest quality inks for long life.
3. Standard quality enlargement on 300 GSM photo paper printed up to 700 mm by 3 metres.

Photo enlargement Standard photo sizes are:

• 6 inch by 4 inch (101mm X 152mm)
• 5 inch by 7 inch (127mm X 180mm)
• 6 inch by 8 inch (152mm X 203mm)
• 8 inch by 10 inch (203mm X 254 mm)
• A4 (210 mm X 297 mm)
• 10 inch by 13 inch (254mm X 330mm)
• 11 inch by 14 inch (280 mm X 356 mm)
• A3 (297 mm X 420 mm)
• A2 (420mm X 594 mm)
• 20 inch by 30 Inch (510mm X 762mm)

The reason these are standard sizes is because photo frames are most common in these dimensions. We can produce images to these sizes or any other. If you have a frame and would like a particular image printed at a size to suit that frame it is usually possible. We say usually because the photo and the frame must be in the same proportions. If its not we can usually extend the image on one side to make the proportions match the frame.
